Ironing Of Tough-To-Feed Linens
Saddle Brook, NJ: The Lubri-Kleen #1 concentrated cleaning treatment from laundry product supplier Tingue, Brown & Co., Saddle Brook, NJ, lubricates and softens aprons, napery and other hospitality linens during laundering to help form a consistent leading edge that feeds easily into flatwork ironers, yielding high rates of wrinkle-free productivity. Added to the wash formula during the final bath of the wash cycle, Lubri-Kleen #1 concentrate reduces the high misfeed rate common to smaller flatwork items and delicate, higher end linen materials along with the diagonal creasing, leading edge creasing and skewness that often result.
Effective in laundries where ironer feeding is performed manually or automatically, the introduction of Lubri-Kleen #1 concentrate as a feed lubricant reduces the frequency of work stoppages for removing linen from the ironer for a boost in productivity and may also reduce waxing requirements. By promoting easy feeding, Lubri-Kleen #1 concentrate minimizes the potential for situations to arise that tempt worker contact with the front roll for important upgrades in worker safety.
Lubri-Kleen #1 concentrate is offered in 30- and 55-gallon drums and in five-gallon pails for low cost testing of the treatment. The cleaning treatment is also proven in cleaning ironer chests, removing starch buildup and minimizing static.
